The mission of the Greek Life office at The University of Alabama is to build a united Greek community by developing opportunities for leadership, service, personal development, and strengthening fraternal bonds.
Student development at the University of Alabama is comprised of more than 250 student organizations and the National Student Exchange program. These organizations aim to get students involved with the University and foster strong relationships that will continue long into the future.
The Mission of Graduate Student Services is to increase and support the academic, personal, and professional growth of graduate and professional students at The University of Alabama. This mission holds at its core the commitment to sharing in the socialization process of graduates and professionals to the culture of their UA graduate family and their chosen profession.
Each year, the University of Alabama honors outstanding individuals with its five Premier Awards:

In addition there are numerous honor societies to recognize students who excel at the Capstone.
The Women’s Resource Center fosters equal participation of women in the university community through programs and services that promote healthy lifestyles, personal development, leadership, and social justice activism.
Crimson Care provides administrative support to address the well-being of individual students, including support during crisis and outreach to parents and families. This is accomplished through programs and organizations such as the Crisis Intervention Committee and the On-Call Dean Program. The goal of Crimson Care is to extend a helping hand whenever necessary and to work with students to build healthier lives, both mentally and physically.
