You will receive real-time alerts from UA's Emergency Operations Group if severe weather or emergency situations happen on campus, and you can also receive breaking news from The Crimson White, your college or academic program, and special deals, sent directly to your cell phone, wireless PDA or pager! Here's how to get it:
- Log in to your MyBama account and click "Sign Up Now" on the left hand side of the screen under Tide Text Alerts.
- Fill out the required information and select the types of alerts you wish to receive
- You will receive a 5-digit authorization code which you will then need to enter into the space provided.
Congratulations! Your phone is now registered to recieve Tide Text Alerts. You will also be able to log in to your account and change your settings anytime you wish.
