Women's Resource Center

The Women's Resource Center maximizes the learning experience of every UA student and the greater UA community through outreach, services and advocacy to empower women and encourage their active and equal participation. The center achieves these goals through a number of services and programs, including: advocacy and counseling services for victims of dating/domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking, leadership and mentoring programs, such as the Young Men's Leadership Program, Unscripted theatre troupe, the WRC Student Leadership Council, outreach including educational programming for Women's History Month, Dating Violence and Sexual Assault Awareness Month, activities for African-American, Hispanic, and Native American heritage months, the EveryWoman Book Club, the Women's Thesis and Dissertation Support Group, and Brown Bag luncheon series.
